!lowerthird

The !lowerthird command triggers the Lower Third element on your overlay. Only moderators and broadcasters can use it.

Basic usage

!lowerthird Sardwyn | Speedrunning Mario 64
!lowerthird Sardwyn | Speedrunning Mario 64 | 15s
!lowerthird Welcome to the stream!

The format is primary | secondary | duration. Duration defaults to 10 seconds.

Named templates

If you've saved a lower third template in the Widget Library, you can invoke it by name using the @ prefix:

!lowerthird @interview Sardwyn | Game Designer
!lowerthird @raid

The named template provides the styling and layout. The text you provide overrides the title and subtitle. If you only provide a template name with no text, the template fires with whatever default content it has.

Priority order

1. Named template (@templatename) if specified
2. Your saved default template from Bot Layer settings
3. Fallback minimal config

Requirements

Your overlay must have a Lower Third element placed on it (added via the editor toolbar). The command drives that element directly — it uses your designed styling and animation.
